Metric Projection report not available for more than 12 months projection in DX NetOps CA Performance Management (CAPM)

Issue/Introduction

Configured projection reports to project metrics for 18 months, enabled for cpu and memory metrics.

However, when running the report, it only goes up to 12 months. Is this a hard limit for metric projections in the report?

Environment

DX NetOps CAPM all currently supported releases

Cause

When you run a report, you expose baseline metrics using the checkbox in the view editor, then the 3 Projection metrics will be selectable.

However, if you are trying to do on the fly projections in a view, that has its limits.

Resolution

Need to Enable the Baseline Metrics:

This shows what Baseline/Projection Metrics are available.

Then see what new attributes are added to the metric picker when you try to run the report.
