Cost metrics are missing in "Virtual Machine Cost Report"

Issue/Introduction

When running the Monthly cost report, We do not see cost metrics showing in the report.

We see that Monthly Cost and Daily Cost Metric is showing a dash instead of actual cost value

 

Environment

Aria Operations SaaS

Cause

Upgrading the vCenter from version 7.x to 8.x may cause such issues not being able to collect few metrics

Resolution

Delete the integration of that particular vCenter from Aria Operations and re-add it. It will refresh the collection for all the metrics and would start collecting for all the metrics once again.

 

NOTE: Please make sure to not to check the option "Delete related objects".

 

Additional Information

Cost Calculation could be checked whether the calculation is failing for any of the Datacenters (DC). If it fails for any DC, you may not be able to see the cost metrics for that DC.
