Issue/Introduction

Applying Layer7_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v11.X-Debian on a new deployed OVA Gateway 11.1 fails with:

Cause

Broadcom patch page for MPP resulted in confusion 

Section marked Version 11.X  - contained patch Layer7_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v11.X-Debian-2024-04-25.zip 

 

 

Resolution

The patch page will be updated, separating GW 11.0 (Debian 11) and GW 11.1 (Debian 12)

Current Status: 

There is no Monthly patch for Gateway 11.1 for Debian 12 as of  5-17-2024  

Starting end of May a change to the patch page separating the nomenclature as 11.0 and 11.1 for monthly patches going forward.
