Issue/Introduction

Accessing the VMC on AWS Log Forwarding UI using an Organization Member account fails with the below error.

Environment

VMC on AWS

Resolution

  1. Access Cloud console using an 'Organization Administrator' account.
  2. Go to Identity & Access Management from the VMware Cloud Services icon, then click Active Users.
  3. Adjust the Service Role for the affected users by replacing 'All Instances' with the specific instance/region that the user's organization is under.



  4. Try accessing the Log Forwarding UI using the 'Organization member' account.
