Issue/Introduction
A U0999 abend occurred in a CICS region and produced a dump.
Top Secret was not affected.

Resolution
A U0999 abend in a CICS region is issued when a task that has a open DB2 thread is FORCE PURGED with a CEMT command. Any recovery routines or jobs that are effected by the FORCE PURGE may produce a dump. The dump can be ignored in most cases.
