Issue/Introduction

This article will show how the user can encounter their PBE account getting locked and how they can reset the PBE password on their own.

Cause

• The user account after 3 unsuccessful login attempts gets locked for 30 minutes.

 

Resolution

• The user gets a locked notification email where they are notified when their account will be unlocked. Please do not attempt to reset the password during the lock out period. You may login again after the lock out period is elapsed.

Next Steps: If the user is unable to receive the reset email, please open a support case for further assistance.
