dr_validate.sh is asking for wrong user’s ssh password

Issue/Introduction

We are preparing to upgrade to 23.3.6

We are installing as root.

When we run the validate script, it asks for the wrong user’s ssh password.

 

Environment

 DX NetOps 23.3.6

Cause

 When you login then su to root, make sure to source the root environment (-)

Resolution

 Login as user, then switch to root:

sudo su -

 

Then run the validate, and it will pick up the root id.
