Azure Commitment Discounts doesn't align with Azure Advisor

Issue/Introduction

The Azure Commitment Discounts tool won't align 1:1 with the recommendations shown in Azure Advisor, and will include more recommendations in most cases.  This is expected behavior.

Resolution

The Azure Commitment Discounts tool pulls recommendations via the following Azure API - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/consumption/reservation-recommendation-details/get?view=rest-consumption-2023-05-01 which is also used to populate the Reservation Recommendation tab when purchasing a Reservation within Microsoft Azure.
