Create from Template for a Custom Object is not populating the OBS attributes properly

Issue/Introduction

When a user creates a new instance of the custom object using the “Create from Template” and populates the OBS attributes, Clarity creates the new instance using the OBS values from the template instead of using the values that user enters in the “Create from Template” entry screen.

Configure template to allow users to create a new instance of the custom object using this template. For this test we need a Custom Object with Template Enabled and Custom Object OBS (give api id). Go to Blueprint and configure the Template with OBS field.
STR:

1) Navigate to Custom Objects Module
2) Click New from Template
3) Select 'Template'
4) Name the instance and change the default OBS value in the Template

Expected: New instance uses the OBS value entered by the user in the Template.

Actual: Clarity creates the new instance using the OBS values from the Template.

Resolution

DE80755 - Custom Object Create from Template is not populating the OBS attribute properly, is fixed and functionality is available in PPM Build 16.2.3.
