End of Availability for VMware vRealize Operations for Horizon

Issue/Introduction

VMware is announcing the End of Availability (EOA) of VMware vRealize Operations for Horizon, effective November 4th, 2021.  After this date, vRealize Operations for Horizon will no longer be available for purchase.  VMware will continue to support this product through October 15th, 2022 (End of General Support).

VMware has launched a new solution for Horizon monitoring which will be available with the purchase of vRealize Operations Advanced or higher editions, as well as with bundles and suites where vRealize Operations is included. To learn more about this new solution, read the blog Announcing What’s New in vRealize Operations Management Pack for Horizon 1.1 - VMware Cloud Management.

 

We recommend that customers consider migrating to the VMware vRealize Operations Advanced / Enterprise, vRealize Suite, vRealize Operations Cloud service, or vRealize Cloud Universal - which offers sophisticated infrastructure and application monitoring capabilities in addition to public and multi cloud management.  Existing vRealize Operations for Horizon customers can purchase VMware vRealize Cloud Universal Standard Add-on for Horizon at a discounted price.  This subscription upgrade program is only available for customers of vRealize Operations for Horizon who are active on SnS. Support contracts for vRealize Operations for Horizon can be renewed up to the End of General Support date.

Customers with active SnS on vRealize Operations for Horizon can upgrade their license to VMware vRealize Cloud Universal Standard at a discounted price.
