Issue/Introduction

This article contains standalone fixes for GSS (Ghost Solution Suite) 3.3 RU11 until GSS 3.3 RU12 version is released/installed.

Fixes:

Issue: Altiris PXE MTFTP Server service stopping in GSS 3.3 RU11.

Issue: Updated 64-bit ipxe.efi (ipxe v1.21.1+) binaries

Combined fix for:

  • Issue: GSS Dagent 6.9.6530 connection recovery issue.
  • Issue: Ghost Imaging process looping on capture or deploy in certain environments.

    How to install fix:

    Attached "DAgent_GSS_33RU11_dropin_6.9.6597.zip" contains 3 folders:

    a) express folder includes binaries that may be added to GSS Server ..\eXpress\Deployment Server\Agents\AClient in order to let agents to be updated automatically if this option is enabled.
    b) x64 and x86 folders include binaries that may replace client side binaries in order to test them on particular clients (note: automatic update option needs to be disabled in that case in order to prevent reverting binaries back).
