Issue/Introduction

After the release of ITMS 8.6 RU2, the following option was added to the Export process of a report: "Use neutral locale for values"

Environment

ITMS 8.6 RU2 and later

Resolution

With our ITMS 8.6 RU2 Release, during report export, a new option/checkbox has been added: "Use Neutral locale for values".

This new option "Use neutral locale for values" is available when saving report data output into the options of "Spreadsheet", "HTML file", and "XML File".

If SMP Console is opened in a non-English language and a report shows the date/time format not in the US format, then when attempting to save a report output and and not enabling the "Use neutral locale for values" option, the date/time format will be saved according to the current SMP Console language.

If the  "Use neutral locale for values" option is enabled before a report output is saved, then the date/time format will be saved in the US format, despite on if there is another language used by the SMP Console.

This "feature" was added as there are some customers using report exports in their workflows and other tools (where they are parsed) and other customers expect the reports to contain "steady" format values.
