Issue/Introduction

Endpoint Protection Manager displays incorrect operating system version in Network and Host Exploit Mitigation and Compliance Events Notification, Windows Server 2022 is mentioned as Windows Server 2016

Environment

SEPM: 14.3 RU7

SEP: 14.3 RU7

Cause

Root Cause: Latest Windows having same R_OS_TYPE. With only R_OS_TYPE the OS version is identified as Win 2016.

Resolution

The issue is fixed in SEPM 14.3 RU9 version. Administrators are advised to upgrade SEPM to address this issue.
