Issue/Introduction

VCO unable to send email notifications due to error "Client does not have permissions to send as this sender". We see the error in UI when we try sending a Test Alert from Configure Alerts & Notifications screen.

 

Environment

VMware SDWAN Orchestrator

Cause

The error is coming from the SMTP server.  SMTP server doesn't have proper permission to send the email.

This is not VCO side issue.

Resolution

This is not a VCO issue. Please check the SMTP server for any error.
