Why are the cycle time reports different between the Team board metrics and the Reports tab metrics.
Cause
The report tab Cycle report does not include Weekends while the team board does.
Weekends are currently included by design. Cycle time reports are intended to report the total elapsed time for a work item to complete and would include weekends and holidays. Excluding weekends can produce erroneous or misleading results when teams around the globe are working together (not every country has the same working week). The Rally team will look at the possibility of adding an optional selector to let a team exclude weekends - as defined in their workspace - but this work is not yet prioritized.
The exclude weekends option would be on the cycle time on the team board.
