Issue/Introduction

Setup DX OI to Integrate with Google IdP and it is not working

Resolution

DXI requires the SAML app to be configured as an 'IdP-initiated' SAML app

Google IdP accepts only SP-Initiated SAML app

We do not have a document for that IdP. In general, we do not add docs for each IdP because we are general., you will need to configure your Idp SAML App for populating firstname, lastname, email, and roles (LDAP groups, as an array input). And specify the ACS url for callback to DXO2.

 

The IdP-specific items are not mentioned, as each IdP has different ways to configure its SAML app and we suggest referencing the IdP's documentation.
