APSAdmin Forgot SmCPW not found anymore in APS (Advanced Password Service) 12.8 Web Agent

Issue/Introduction

Being in the process of migrating to Windows Server 2022, and since SiteMinder Web Agent 12.8 for Windows supports Windows Server 2022, the following list of files no longer exist in 12.8 webagent folder: 

<{home_Web_Agent}>\win32\bin\Web\APSAdmin\APSAdmin
<{home_Web_Agent}>\win32\bin\Web\FPS\Forgot
<{home_Web_Agent}>\win32\bin\Web\CPW\SmCPW

Environment

Web Agent 12.8 on Windows 2022

Resolution

The above referenced files are no longer shipped. 

They belong to the former APS CGI model.

12.8 Web Agent no longer supports APS CGI model.

This APS CGI model has been replaced with an APS Web Application.

Use the APS Web Application Model to handle the Advanced Password Services (APS) (1).
