Issue/Introduction

There is a query with regards to the DX UIM 23.4 documentation on installing DX UIM on active/passive microsoft cluster

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/unified-infrastructure-management/23-4/installing/install-uim-server/installing-in-an-active-passive-microsoft-cluster.html

It says

Deploy and Configure the Robot
Deploy the robot:
Log in to the active node of the cluster and launch Admin Console or Infrastructure Manager.
Deploy the new robot package to the existing primary hub robot.

What do you mean deploy the robot, and new robot package? We have already installed the UIM server on both nodes. What new robot package is the documentation talking about?

Resolution

It is mentioned because by any reason if installed UIM server does not have the latest robot version, latest version of robot package should be applied.

If the applied version of UIM server is latest one then it would have latest version of robot also and then this steps is not needed at all. So this step is the optional step, not the mandatory one.

Hope this answers your question.
