Issue/Introduction

When attempting to open the Oracle probe for one of our EXACC hubs, where we have enabled monitoring for databases, the probe encounters an issue and is unable to configure.

Environment

DX UIM 20.4.CU9

Cause

Low memory issue.

Resolution

To fix this issue, increase the JAVA memory allocated to the PPM probe.

Steps:

  1. Open the PPM probe's configuration by double-clicking on the probe in the Infrastructure Manager (IM).
  2. Click on the "Startup" tab.
  3. Select "Options".
  4. Enter the new memory value.
