Issue/Introduction

how can I confirm the version of A2A installed on older installations of A2A client?

Environment

PAM A2A all versions

Resolution

On Windows releases there is a C:\cspm\cloakware\cspmclient\version file which contains the current installed version in addition to the version listed in Microsoft Applications. In the latest versions of A2A on Linux and unix there is A2A.version file stored in the CSPM_CLIENT_HOME folder to validate the version. If you used the RPM installation on Linux you can utilize the RPM manager to validate the version with "rpm -qa |grep A2A". For all older versions of the A2A or cspmclient where the version file does not exist, you may need to use the strings command (# strings cspmclient64 |grep 4.12) to find the specific version
