Issue/Introduction
If Client Automation and ServiceDesk are not sharing the same mdb, a"Database Synchronization" task should be created in Client Automation to replicate data from Client Automation mdb to ServiceDesk mdb and make the integration of both products possible.
Environment
Client Automation - All versions
Resolution
First install the ITCM mdb on SQL Server where ServiceDesk mdb is installed This will create the Client Automation tables in ServiceDesk mdb.
In DSM Explorer, go under Control Panel/Engines/All Engines
Select one Engine (ex: SystemEngine) and click on "Add New Task"
Select "Database Synchronization" Task type :
Click Next. Give a name to the Task (ex : Synchronization SDM) Click Next
Then enter the details for ServiceDesk mdb connection :
SQL Server Name, Instance (let blank if it is not a named instance).
Default password for ca_itrm is : NOT_changedR11
Click Next and Finish
By default this task is executed once a day.
The first time it will replicate all data from Client Automation mdb to DSM mdb
