'Invalid Date' when typing DD/MM/YYYY format in dates while filtering

Issue/Introduction

It is not possible to enter a date by typing it in the filter if the date format is DD/MM/YYYY (while using a locale that uses this format, like English (United Kingdom)).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. 1. In the Modern UX, click on the avatar to open the Settings menu.
  2. 2. While on the General tab, change the locale to English (United Kingdom).
  3. 3. Close the dialog for the new locale settings to be applied.
  4. 4. Go again to avatar > Settings > General and choose the Date Format to be DD/MM/YYYY (the value displays the current date, such as 30/04/2024).
  5. 5. Go to the Projects grid view and add the filter Start Date.
  6. 6. Type '30/04/2024' as a date.

Expected Results: Date entered is accepted.

Actual Results: 'Invalid Date' is shown.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in Clarity 16.2.3.

Workaround: Use the date picker instead of typing the date, which will display 30/04/2024.
