Specify desired starting time for Schedule/Job

Issue/Introduction

Schedule/Job is scheduled to start at a specified time.

In order for the Schedule/Job to run at the pre-scheduled time, how should this be configured?

Release: r7.3

Component: SCHDVS

Resolution

Schedule/Job can be started at a specified time by entering the start time in the EARLIEST START TIME field on the Schedule/Job Definition (Basic Record) screen.

 

<Note>

 It is possible to schedule a Schedule/Job by specifying the time only. The specification of a Schedule/Job to be a predecessor is not a required field. Specify as appropriate.
