14.5 JCS upgrade failure

Issue/Introduction

When we try to run the installation file, it is running as fresh installation and not as Upgrade.

I have verified under /etc and found the .ca_im_connector_server file. 

under the install directory the _uninst folder exists

Resolution

The server was missing the vpd.properties 

This file was recovered from another server 

In the recovered file, we had to change the install location

After this the installer viewed as an upgrade and completed.
