Rally: Unable to dismiss a popup window

Issue/Introduction

Unable to dismiss popup window in Rally.  The window has an X in the upper right corner, but it is grayed out.

Note that this is one example, but the issue can arise with any number of popup windows.

Cause

Browser extensions (i.e. addins, plugins) are conflicting with the X close window feature.

Resolution

To determine which browser extension is causing the problem, you can disable one extension at a time until the X becomes active.  Then enable all extensions other than the problematic one.

Alternatively, login to Rally using an Incognito window or a different browser and dismiss the window by clicking the X.
