SRVMAINT Program just sitting no I/O

Issue/Introduction

Running Common Components and Services (CCS) R15.  Trying to run a SRVMAINT job for SYSVIEW ESSENTIALS installation but it just sits there doing nothing. The job was eventually cancelled since nothing was happening.

There are no messages witnessed indicating a problem, so a console dump of "hung" batch job was obtained to possible identify culprit.

Below are some messages showing when the job started and when it was cancelled, along with where things appeared to get stuck.

Cause

Review of dump revealed potential interaction by Dino Software product known a VELOCI-Raptor may have been playing a role.

Resolution

Disabling VELOCI-Raptor allows the SRVMAINT job to run and complete successfully.
