This document will go through a high-level process of how to correctly install and configure the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) system.
Background:
As of Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM) v7.0 Service Oriented Configuration (SOC) templates are no longer supported within the Unified Management Portal (UMP)
Environment:
Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM) v8.31+
Instructions:
1. Follow Instructions according to the documents found at Topology and Root Cause Analysis.
a. Do not complete steps labelled "To Configure Net Connect for Network Fault Correlation" proceed to step 2.
2. Follow steps listed here: Configuring the net_connect probe.
3. Return to original document (Topology and Root Cause Analysis).
a. Continue at the next section labelled "Using Topology and Root Cause Analysis".
