Dashboards in Introscope WebView fail to render properly after editing Management Module Name in Workstation Management Module Editor

CA Application Performance Management Agent (APM / Wily / Introscope) INTROSCOPE

After editing the name of a Management Module via the Management Module Editor in the Workstation console, we observed that the dashboards associated to the edited Management Module will not render properly in the WebView console. This problem mainly affects dashboards that contain images and links. The images will not load, and links will not be clickable.

Below are the steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Open a new Management Module Editor

2. Select a particular Management Module under the Management Modules tree

3. On the right panel under Settings tab, edit the value in the Name: field and click Apply

4. Access one of the dashboard associated with this Management Module in Webview and you will see that the content, in particular the images and links, of the dashboard do not render correctly.

This problem affects both APM 10.0 and APM 10.1

This behaviour has been identified as a product defect, and will be fixed in APM 10.2.

Restarting the WebView server and re-access the dashboard will work around the issue.
