You are trying to send a command to the mainframe via the OPS/MVS interface, but the vertical bar character ('|') is delivered to the mainframe as a period character ('.'). For example, you try sending the following:
"OPS SYSID(SYST) COMMAND('|JBS D HELD') capture (DTM6420I DTM6417E) syswait(30)"
However, after the command reaches reaches the mainframe you see the followng error message in the OPSLOG:
.JBS D HELD
IEE350I .JBS COMMAND INVALID
Windows Server 2003 and z/OS mainframe
