SOAP Web Service fails to start after an upgrade to CA WAAE 11.3.6 SP2 and above

Issue/Introduction

Problem:

After an upgrade from CA WAAE 11.3.5 INCR3 to CA WAAE 11.3.6 SP2 or above, the SOAP Web Service fails to start

Environment: 

-          autoflags –a:  585 AIX SYB 11.3.5 INCR3

-          CA WAAE upgrade to 11.3.6 SP2 or SP3

Cause:

-          CA WAAE 11.3.6 SP2 upgrades the tomcat server

Resolution:

-          Uninstall the previous 11.3.5  soap Web Server and install the new version coming from the CA WAAE 11.3.6 SP2 or SP3 iso image with below steps

-                                                     Uninstall old version of SOAP Web Server with 

                                           cd $AUTOSYS/install/soapWS

                                           perl ./install.pl -U

-                   -      Upgrade from CA WAAE 11.3.5 INCR3 to 11.3.6 SP2 or above

-                   -       Extract the new soap Web Service files from $AUTOSYS/install/soapWS/AERPC.tar.gz

              -    save your $AUTOSYS/config/soapWS/ws_soap_config.properties file

-                    -     Run the installation steps described in file $AUTOSYS/install/soapWS/Installation_and_Configuration.pdf

p                                  perl install.pl  -b <eem server> -p <EiamAdmin password>

                                   configure the $AUTOSYS/config/soapWS/ws_soap_config.properties file  from your saved file in previous step

               - unisrvcntr start waae_webserversoap
