Question:

Currently user issues LOGON APPLID(xxxxx) DATA(xxxx) from outside TPX.  Is there any way to pass data to an application via TPX logon (maybe something I can add to the ACT member)?

Answer:

Yes. SessionData for an application can be defined either at the user level or the profile level.

From either at the profile or user level

Select a session then paged down to the second screen and you will see SessionData.

Example from the User level:

                                                             Termid   - XXXXXXXX
Userid:   XXXXXXXX           Session:  XXXX                 Date     - 02/23/16
 Applid:   XXXXXXXX                                          Time     - 11:31:32
 Label:          XXX For XXXX
 Profile label:  ________________________________
 ACT label    :

 Parm 6: ___________________________ ___________________________
 Parm 7: ___________________________ ___________________________
 Parm 8: ___________________________ ___________________________

 Default:     ____________________________________________________________

SessionData represents up to 60 characters of data that should be passed by TPX when the application session is being activated. This could include ACL symbolic parameters like &USERID.
