Issue/Introduction

How can the CA IDMS Server 32-bit  and 64-bit ODBC and JDBC drivers be downloaded?

Environment

Release: 18.5, 19.0
Component: CA IDMS

Resolution

The latest release of the CA IDMS Server product is release 17.1. This is the correct version to use with IDMS 19.0.
There are no separate files for the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the CA IDMS Server product, they are both on the same install file with options to install the 32-bit and 64-bit drivers. 

Follow these steps to download the file containing the drivers:

• Signon to https://support.broadcom.com/
• Click on Mainframe Software
• Click on Product Downloads
• In the Search Your Product field enter IDMS and then click on IDMS below the search box
• In the SEARCH field type Server
• Click on  CA IDMS Server Option MVS 
• Click on the cloud icon on line CA IDMS Server r17.1 0000 ESD Only
• It will download file DVD0000000002821.zip
• Unzip the file and then run the setup.exe file to install it.
