Issue/Introduction

During Netmaster initialization the following message appears:

 BPXF274I FILE SYSTEM NETMIP.IGP1.U.HOMEDIR.ZFS FAILED to MOUNT RETURN CODE = 00000099, REASON CODE = EF096150

 There may be no discernible impact to the active region.

Environment

Release: SLOPFC00200-12.1-NetMaster-File Transfer Management
Component:

Resolution

Resolution:

The hFS or zFS files related to the /home directory for the OMVS security segment of the Netmaster userid are not accessible on that LPAR at startup.

Issue the console command
  D OMVS,MF
to see if this is the only file system impacted.

The response shows all mount or file system move failures. You will receive a display that looks something like

D OMVS,MF
BPXO058I 09.30.57 DISPLAY OMVS 346
OMVS    000E ACTIVE OMVS=(P1)
SHORT LIST OF FAILURES:
TIME=08.11.11 DATE=2005/08/17         MOUNT RC=0099  RSN=EF096150
  NAME=ZOS17.TMP.ZFS
  TYPE=ZFS
  PATH=/SYSTEM/tmp
  PLIB=BPXPRMZG

Investigate why that is the case.

Possible causes include
     -      the proper DASD were not brought online at IPL
     -      the directory is defined to DASD not accessible on this system.
