Issue/Introduction

Question:

We are seeing performance slowness and contention with the object12_5 table in Oracle RAC. Can we change the table to use SECUREFILE instead of basic LOB?

 

Answer:

Yes, as SECURFILE is a recommended by Oracle as a performance improvement it is supported by CA Identity Manager. 

Conversion to SECUREFILE requires dropping and rebuilding the table. Please contact your Oracle DBA for assistance.
