Issue/Introduction

Question:

I am completing a new install of IDMS 19.0 and would like to see my current system configuration settings so that I can determine if changes are needed as described in the Installation Guide, page 93, Createing an Executable System.

Answer:

System options reports provide detailed information about DC/UCF systems that have been defined to the dictionary. CREPORT 011 describes the options defined for executable systems; these systems are represented in the dictionary by the SYSMO-170 record. CREPORT 025 describes options defined for systems that have been defined but not generated; these systems are represented by the SYS-041 record. The fields and format of the two reports are the same. One of these reports, (11 for executable system, 25 for source info) should give you the information contained in your SYSTEM statement from the SYSGEN. There are other Creports for other SYSGEN entities, such as LINEs, TASKs, etc.
