Issue/Introduction

Question:

How can I find out what genlevel of CA XCOM Data Transport AS/400 i5/OS is running and what maintenance has been applied ?

 Answer:

The command XCOMVER is used to determine the genlevel of CA XCOM Data  Transport.  It returns the information

CA-XCOMr11 GENLVL YYMMSPnn

where YY is the year, MM is the month, and nn represents the service pack level.

The command XCOMPTF shows the latest maintenance applied by checking each object in the CA XCOM Data Transport library with the program XCOMPTF against the GA date of the release or service pack. The output of the XCOMPTF command will display the latest version of any object that has had maintenance applied to it.

The CA-XCOM Data Transport for AS/400 i5/OS User Guide r11 has further details on these commands.
