Issue/Introduction

Problem:

When adding a predecessor or successor job to an event using the GJTRABTR batch utility, if the date on the predecessor or successor is over the year end boundary, the year will not be changed to the correct year.

The symptom of the problem is that the year is wrong on the predecessor or successor added by GJTRABTR.  The impact is jobs may not connect correctly and be released as expected.

Environment:

This applies to CA Jobtrac Job Management r11.0 for z/OS

Resolution/Workaround:

The following solution for r11.0 should be applied.

RO65718 (JOBTRC 11.0 #630), "CROSS-YEAR BOUNDARY FAILURE"

A circumvention until the fix can be applied is to add successors and predecessors using the ISPF interface.

As always, please contact CA Technologies Support if you have further questions.
