The slapd.conf file has the following reference to a 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS Implementation Guide':
=================================================================
###############################################################
# What port(s) is LDAP to listen on
###############################################################
hosturls ldap://:389
###############################################################
###############################################################
# Global LDAP options section
# Refer to the LDAP Implementation Guide, section
# 'Customize the Configuration File' for an explanation
# of the following parameters

Even though the slapd.conf file mentions a 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS Implementation Guide', a manual by this name no longer exists. All references to the 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS Implementation Guide' are 'hang-overs' from the past when such a manual did exist, and haven't yet been corrected.
The 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS Implementation Guide' is now incorporated into the CA web site DOCOPS, found at the following link:
https://docops.ca.com/ca-system-z-security-communication-servers-dsi-ldap-pam/15-1/en In the DOCOPS link, you'll find all the information regarding descriptions of each keyword and what the possible values are. Unfortunately, all this information is scattered throughout this link in DOCOPS, not conveniently in one section as it was in the 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS Implementation Guide'.
To find the required information on keywords and possible values, you may find using the 'Search this product' box, within DOCOPS, the quickest and best option, rather than reading the entire DOCOPS link to find the answer.
The reason for this change was due to the many Products that now connect using the CA LDAP Server. Rather than increase the size of the 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS Implementation Guide' to cater for all these Products, it was decided that individual Products should have their own link within DOCOPS, and to put all of the information from the then existing 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS Implementation Guide', into the 'CA LDAP Server for z/OS' DOCOPS link.
