After applying maintenance to Disk™ Backup and Restore, you encounter the following error when trying to run a backup:
ADSDM083 4181 DATA SET CADISK.FILES ON DD FILES DOES NOT HAVE ANY SPACE ALLOCATED TO IT.
You are running with a DUMMY DISK FILES dataset.
TEST FILES were allocated as one with 2 cylinders and the job ran fine.
Release: Disk™ Backup and Restore
Module ADSDC650 links the Datacom database with the Disk™ Backup and Restore FILES data set name. If this module does not exist, Disk is looking for a real FILES allocation and returns 4181 message. The ADSDC650 module was "lost" from the linklist after updating Disk™ Backup and Restore. The new load library probably no longer contains it.
You need to copy the ADSDC650 module that you have already created in your previous load library into the new load library and everything will work fine.
In case you lost the ADSDC650 module, please contact Broadcom Support for assistance on guidance to recreate it if you do not have a backup of your load library.
