How to setup a specific custom page or a request section as default home page CA Catalog.
Answer:
Note that ‘spadmin’ has wider range of access and cannot have the default landing page as a Request page. The default landing page can be a request tab instead of dashboard for a 'Catalog user' \ 'end user' roles
The steps below describes how to setup a specific custom page / request tab as default landing page.
1. Login as service delivery administrator role

2. Click Catalog -> Configuration

3. Click on 'Request Management Configuration'

4. Click on the property 'Requests Home Page: Include Request Information'

5. Select/configure roles that needs to be the default landing page, Click Request Tab instead of dashboard. For spadmin, its role is "service delivery administrator" role.
