Issue/Introduction

Problem:

DDUPDATE with SDCTRNS transactions from Datacom 12.0 PTF RO66596 ends prematurely with COND 0 at transaction:

-UPD FIELD,DD-HSD-FILE. 
- KEY(T990,DD) 
 
PTF RO66596 is one of the 12.0 PTFs required in preparation for upgrade from CA Datacom/DB 12.0 to 14.0 as indicated in RI37761 Title: *README: STATUS OF CA DATACOM/DB/DD/DQ/SQL VERSION 14.0 Z/OS. 

Environment: 

z/OS 

Resolution: 

Apply Datacom DD PTF RO55000 then rerun the DDUPDATE job following by DDCFBLD with +HSD RESET.

While PTF RO55000 does not list this problem as a symptom, it has been confirmed to be the resolution.
