Issue/Introduction

Question:

On approval workflow, the manager gets an email with approval mail. On accessing the mail link, user is requested to enter his credentials even if SSO is configured and enabled. How to Approve / Reject a request from a url in an email without prompting for credential?.

Answer:

Run the following query in the database

1. Query “update usm_guinode set is_secured=0 where guinode_id='requestapproveconfirmmessage'”

2. Restart the service catalog services

The above query would update the usm_guinode table with the value of is_secured to ‘0’ to enable the SSO features for "request approve confirmation message" id.
