Question:
There was a recent SSL encryption upgrade from SHA-1 to SHA-2. Does APM TIM Support SHA-2 encryption?
Answer:
For those customers with APM 10.x or the TLS 1.1/1.2 new functionality hotfix, the answer is yes. Other customers running older releases may experience an increase in decode errors. CA Technologies Support can assist if provided with a pcap file, TIM Logs/Configuration, and the output of the OpenSSL command:
openssl x509 -text -in [your ssl certificate]
