Question: 

 

What are the steps to change the datasource of a query in a particular report in CABI?

  

Answer:

In BOXI 3.1 you can directly change the source of a query in the HTML report editor (e.g. to refer to another universe) but for BOXI 4.1 this does not work and it has to be done in the WebI Rich Client instead by following these steps:

 

1- Open Web Intelligence Rich Client (Start : Programs : CA : CABI 4.1 Client Tools)

2- Open the report to be modified.

3- Click in menu "Data" (upper right) 

4- Select tab "Tools" .

5- Click on "Change Source" 

6- Select the query to be modified. 

7- Select the data source to be used (e.g universe). 

 

8- Save and Export.
