What are the recommended configuration settings on Enterprise Antivirus when ITCM also running on same machine ?

Question:  

What are the recommended configuration settings on Enterprise Antivirus when ITCM is also running on same machine ? 

Answer: 

There are currently no known issues surrounding ITCM and Antivirus.

In general it is safe to run antivirus normally on the ITCM servers and agents.

Only if it were proven to be causing a problem we might recommend to exclude a particular directory from real time scanning but otherwise

there are no special considerations.

Recommendation is to exclude the following paths (and sub-paths) from scanning..(if proven to be causing some issues) .

• ..\CA\DSM\dts
• ..\CA\DSM\logs
• ..\CA\DSM\SD\ASM
• ..\CA\DSM\bin
