Issue/Introduction

Problem:

My customer obtains this message when he enters a value in he optional field displayed in the DDOL, option 4 (authorize) and sub-option 1 (maintain person).

1-DDOL000101A - CMDP - COMMAND SYNTAX ERROR STARTING AT "EDKP "

I noticed that the value entered has no relation with anything displayed after the application answered.

Also, my customer reports that this situation occurs only in one of its environments. He tested all the others and situation is normal.

Where should we investigate?

 

Cause:

Problem can be data related and so problem may happens in one environment and not in the other.

 

Resolution:

There is APAR #: RO80200 (IPC PTF) related to that message:

1-DDOL000101A- CMDP - COMMAND SYNTAX ERROR STARTING AT "EDKP".

Title: SC00CMPR PASSES CORRUPT COPY OF SCROLL CMDS.

Some valid SCROLL commands may be rejected, such as the POS command in DDOL.
