How do I implement changes to the CA 1 options?

 

Resolution

After you have updated the appropriate CTAPOPTN member you will run TMSINIT on all systems that share these options and TMC.  

If you have updated the TMOSCRxx member make sure that your changes to the member did not change the sequence of the scratch subpool names or move a tape range from one pool to another.  If you did change the sequence or move a range to another pool, then you must stop tape processing before running TMSINIT to implement the changes.

When you run TMSINIT reply "U' to the IEFTMS0 message so that CA 1 is activated with the new options.
