Why are we getting a NAT7059 error in the CA Endevor SCM Integration for the Natural Environment (EINE) Server?

Issue/Introduction

Question: 

Why are we getting a NAT7059 error in the CA Endevor SCM Integration for the Natural Environment (EINE)  Server?

NAT7059 CPU-ID ... assumed as your DR or DR testing environment. 

 

Environment:  

  • Natural versions v4.x, v8.1 and v8.2
  • All supported versions of EINE  

 

Answer: 

The EINE Servers invoke a batch Natural nucleus in the Server address space to perform the Natural activity and execute Natural utilities. The serial number of the CPU that the EINE Server is being executed on is not defined in the Natural product license file.  
 
With Natural versions - 4.x , v8.1 and v8.2, this is purely an informational message and does not prevent normal operation of Natural.

At this time, the NAT7059 error has no adverse effect on the operation of the EINE Servers.   

 

Additional Information: 

To eliminate the error message, contact Software AG with the serial number of the CPU receiving the error and get a new Natural product license file.
