Summary:
When applying cumulative maintenance for CSM the instructions are as follows as outlined in each PTF description and the Maintenance section of the CA Chorus Software Manager Wiki:
1. Apply the cumulative maintenance.
2. Stop CA CSM.
3. Run the MSMDEPLY job to deploy the maintenance to the CA CSM run-time
libraries and USS paths.
4. Start CA CSM.
After the MSMDEPLY is run successfully and CSM is restarted, it is a good habit to verify that the new Production level is active.
Instructions:
The PTF description contains a Level Set number as in the following example:
CA CSM 6.0 LEVEL SET MAINTENANCE SHIPMENT - 114
In order to make sure that the Production level matches the Level Set, press the ABOUT button found in lower right corner of any CSM display. The ABOUT button will show the Product Specifications which includes information such as the CSM version and current Level Set.
