In NCM when trying to save component configuration the following error is seen:
SPC-OCC-10165 : Unable to connect to the ncmservice.
The ncmservice daemon may be not running on the SPECTRUM host machine.

Resolution
To resolve this issue, restart the ncmservice process by killing the current running ncmservice process. On Linux, find the process id and run a "kill -9" process on the process id. On Windows, use the Windows Task Manager to end the process.
processd will notice the ncmprocess has stopped running and will start a new one.
Verify a new ncmservice process is running.
